TMWT JUNE 2024 RECAP

The battle for the Playoffs is heating up as June saw intense competition among all qualification contenders.  This month featured no fewer than five tournaments: three in the Challenger Tournament category, one Grand Tournament, and the Major Tournament with the GameWard Cup.

Winners of the month

June’s series of tournaments allowed several players to shine in the world rankings through consistency and standout performances. Hungarian player Péter “Pusztitopako” Varga made a remarkable comeback by winning both the GameWard Cup and the Challenger Community Cup #2.

French player Youen “Otaaaq” Egler demonstrated impressive consistency, securing three podium finishes in three tournaments in June, including a victory at the Monthly Cup.

Other notable point collectors this month include Germans Dennis “Massa” Lotze and Jan “Jan” Hilmer, Canadian Carl-Antoni “CarlJr” Cloutier at LAN ETS, and Englishmen Thomas “Pac” Cole and Joe “Bozbez” Kaushal. French players Alexandre “Binkss” Touche and Emerson “Melioo” Almeida also made significant progress.

What’s next in July?

Trackmania players won’t be taking a break just yet. July promises a series of homologated tournaments with three online events offering new opportunities to earn more points and build confidence before the final stretch of the regular season from August to September, featuring a new official map pack.

Three Grand Tournament category tournaments are lined up, starting this weekend and culminating on July 21.
