TMWT 2025 – Global Playoffs #2: Nemesis Rise to the Top, World Cup Line-Up Complete

The second Global Playoffs of the 2025 Trackmania World Tour delivered a weekend full of surprises, upsets, and high-speed drama. From the opening Swiss stage to the final sprint for the World Cup slots, spectators were treated to some of the most intense racing of the season.

BIG Dominate the Swiss Stage

The Playoffs kicked off with a Swiss stage that saw BIG dominate the field. The German organization cruised through with a flawless 5-0 record, securing an early qualification to the playoff bracket. Joining them were BOCA, Team Nemesis, Lioncoast, Puffbros, Pigeon, Jetlag, and WYLDE, rounding out a highly competitive top eight.

Each team brought their best to the track, but BIG’s consistency and precision made them the standout of the first phase, and sending a strong message to the competitors, BIG would be on their best game this week-end.

Bracket Battles and Stunning Upsets

Once the playoff bracket began, chaos ensued. Matches went down to the wire, with results not always showing the true story of the tight matches that were played. The biggest shock came when Team Nemesis went on a remarkable run, first sending BOCA down to the Lower Bracket, and then eliminating them when they played again, after a nail-biting series.

Nemesis reached the Grand Finals, securing not only a spot in the title match but also a guaranteed qualification for the Trackmania World Cup. Their opponent, BIG, fighting for the final World Cup slot, needed a victory to secure their place.

EMEA Sweep the Podium

When the dust settled, the podium featured an all-EMEA line-up, with BIG, Team Nemesis and BOCA taking the top three spots and sharing the €5,000 prize pool. The results highlighted the depth and strength of the EMEA region, which dominated the competition this time around.
The Global Playoffs #2 offered everything we could hope for: tension, surprises and pure racing brilliance. If you missed it, you can find the replay of the Official Livestream on Youtube, and results on Trackmania Esports.

Each track in the Map Pack showcases the creativity and style of its author. Here’s what the creators had to say about their designs:
