FALL 2024: UPDATE & CHANGELOG

ADDED

  • Added a new Platform game mode
  • Added an online version of the Stunt mode (Multiplayer)
  • Added the ability to create club campaigns with Royal tracks and play them in local
  • Added a new track type setting on the PC for the track editor when quick start is enabled
  • Added the validity of the section in the xmlrpc callback sent at the end of a turn, round, …
  • Added the mode used during warm-up (Time Attack or Rounds) to the data sent to the client
  • Added the ability to play Royal, Stunt and Platform tracks in track upload activities
  • Added Stunt and basic color gradient palettes to the track editor plugin

CHANGED

  • Improved the connection error message to make it more explicit
  • Improved the Medals tab in the Records module to show personal best and author medals when gold medal is reached
  • Randomised the display of the Snow, Rally or Desert car on the Home Page
  • Updated the summer campaign pop-up header and button image in the Arcade page and Track Browser
  • Changed splashscreen button text from “Continue” to “Close”
  • Changed the Stunt mode by adding a time limit. Tracks now have a 3-minute base timer, with an extra minute added for each park.
  • Changed the Stunt mode by applying the multiplier to the last stunt instead of the next stunt
  • Replaced “Perfect” and “Master” with “Great” and “Excellent” in Stunt
  • Sorted dedicated server accounts by login in the club room creation popup

FIXED

  • [Stunt] Fixed a bug where the park timer would not run correctly after passing a checkpoint in the air
  • Fixed pause menu position in rooms
  • Fixed minor issues with the display of Maniapubs
  • Fixed a bug that cleared the author’s score when restarting from the pause menu in validation modes (Race, Stunt, and Platform)
  • Fixed a bug in the game mode xmlrpc callbacks when counting valid sections after skipping a subsection
  • Removed the “Save Replay” button from end race menus on consoles
  • Makes sure the first macroblock used in the Gamepad Track Editor is always Tech
  • Fixed Platform curves interior decals are now deleted when mixmapped with other matching blocks.

Note about Stunt mode: an Updated Discovery Campaign is coming soon, featuring all the new changes and refreshed author times.
