Introducing Trackmania’s Latest Feature: Weekly Shorts!
Accessible to all players with FREE Starter Access* and fueled by community creativity, Weekly Shorts brings you back to the core of the “easy to pick up, hard to master” Trackmania experience.
Each Sunday at 6 PM CET, five new tracks will be released, allowing players to race for medals and climb both track and weekly rankings, with trophies awarded at the end of the week.
These tracks are playable in solo, online, and local multiplayer modes, with a new menu button making it easy to launch tracks directly into hotseat local multiplayer for quick games with friends on consoles with only one controller.
*Club Access players can access ALL Weekly Shorts from their launch, while Starter Access players can only enjoy the current Weekly Shorts campaign.
Want to Submit Your Track?
A dedicated Weekly Shorts Track Review is open, where creators can submit tracks for consideration. Key selection criteria include track length, readability, challenge and fun!
More updates
Additional optimizations including a refreshed User Interface, are also part of this update. You can find all the details in the changelog.

CHALLENGES
For the Shorts tracks, I would like to focus on key elements and introduce the “Challenges” track type.
Trackmania’s rich array of blocks, physics, and gameplay mechanics offers countless possibilities. By having over 250 Challenges annually, players will have an excellent way to explore these features. These tracks should be designed with clear physics & gameplay obstacles that will make players think & try twice, or more!
Challenges aim to bring the fun of progression and offer insights into various aspects of Trackmania’s rich gameplay.
They’re also perfect for Hot Seat mode, since you can challenge your friends and experience good surprises thanks to physics or ideas.
TOP SECRET
Shorts will also bring more frequent competitive solo content alongside the Seasonnal Campaign.
We introduce the new “Top Secret” feature. Best times & ghosts will remain hidden until the end of the Weekly Shorts hunting period. This system should encourage exploration and strategy, as players might discover rare techniques to secure top rankings. Every Sunday at 6 p.m. CET, the leaderboard will lock, and the best times and ghosts will be revealed.
This “Top Secret” feature can also be applied to user-made tracks, offering players a way to keep their training strategies private until an event.
LIKE/DISLIKE
Track of the Day remains a great place for the more regular player with the best daily addition possible.
To achieve this and especially try to ensure fairness for mappers, we have introduced “like/dislike” feature to improve track ratings. This will help review servers identify those who provide good and fair ratings. ^_^
Looking Ahead: Winter Campaign Drops January 1st
