Trackmania World Tour 2024: Check out the Latest Winners and Qualifiers

The end of the Trackmania World Tour regular season has been nothing short of thrilling. With direct qualifications for the World Cup on the line and homologated tournaments every weekend, September was a packed month, culminating in the final monthly tournament won by Canadian player CarlJr. Here’s a quick recap of this action-filled month before the Playoffs and the World Cup in Paris.

A Month Full of Tournaments and Action

September kept players on their toes with three homologated tournaments, one in each category. With so many points up for grabs, it was still possible to secure a spot in the top 32 of the World Ranking.

At the LAN Party Holy’n Lyon in France, organized by Zephyr Esport, many French players gathered for a fierce competition. Local player Melioo claimed victory, followed by Swiss player Ikewolf and French player Glast.

Meanwhile, over 60 players, including many of the season’s top drivers, competed in the Encore tournament hosted by the British & Irish organization. As a Major tournament, the stakes were high. English player Bozbez put on an impressive performance, clinching victory after an incredible comeback from the loser bracket, propelling him into the top 5 of the World Ranking. French player Binkss, the solid leader of the World Ranking, finished close behind, with English player Whizzy taking third place. Finnish player MiQuatro also stood out, finishing fourth.

In the final homologated tournament of the season, September’s Monthly Cup, players had one last chance to qualify for the Playoffs. Canadian CarlJr, who had already secured his World Cup ticket, took first place, with his compatriot L1ngo finishing second, Croatian player Razii third, and French player Gwen fourth.

Mudda and CarlJr Secure Their Tickets to the World Cup

The Rest of the World Regional Qualifiers concluded in early September after the first stage in August, which saw 8 players (4 from Africa and the Middle East, and 4 from Asia and Oceania) qualify for the finals. The 8 finalists competed in a double elimination bracket, with Turkish players Cemkoo, Huso, and Ignite, along with Australian player Mudda, fighting for the final World Cup slot. Mudda, a top 3 player in the 2023 World Cup, dominated to secure his place in Paris. Cemkoo and Huso, however, will get another chance in the Playoffs.

Meanwhile, in the American Regional Qualifiers, former world champion CarlJr came out on top, ahead of American player Neal and Canadian player L1ngo. Neal and L1ngo will also have another shot at World Cup qualification during the Playoffs, thanks to their strong performances in the World Ranking.

Next up are the European qualifiers, set to take place at the prestigious XPEvo tournament in Cologne, Germany, from October 11th to 13th.
